A gift to the body of Christ with the Apostolic call in the Office of the Prophet & gift as a Teacher; Prophet Christine Fortson is an expounder of the Truth of the Word of God. Prophet Chris, as she is affectionately called, was born in Hartford, Connecticut to the union of Earl and Margaret Murray and she is the youngest of five (5) children. Known for her piercing illuminations, relatable delivery of the Word and her dedication to liberating, equipping and training the army of God; Prophet Fortson has served passionately in various areas of ministry including Sunday school, Evangelism, Administrator, and served alongside the Youth Pastor.

In the early 90s, in a step of faith – the Fortson Family moved to Tulsa, OK, as her husband achieved his degrees and ministerial training. Christine became immersed in training as well and under the leading of Holy Spirit answers the call to the Office of Prophet.  In 1999, Christine was affirmed as Prophet of the Lord and as God has increased her gifting and insight, she has been elevated to the Office of the Chief Prophet and the Head Educator of the Perfecting School of Ministry’s Prophetic Training Institute. In addition, Prophet Chris has administrated projects including the expansion of the Worship Center and Administrative buildings of Full Gospel Foundation Building Ministries, and currently serves on the Executive Board at FGFBMI under the leadership of Apostle Cheryl Fortson. Propagating the Vision of FGFBMI, in conjunction with Apostle Fortson, and in answer to that charge on her life–Prophet Christine ensures the people of God are properly trained, empowered, and equipped to pass on to others what they have been taught. (2 Timothy 2:2), especially the “good news” of salvation.

Christine Fortson is a wife of 30 years to Pastor Darryl Fortson, Sr., mother of four beautiful children and grandmother to two amazing gifts. She is the CEO and an independent fashion consultant of BeAttitudes, an individual style boutique focused on the uniqueness referenced in Jeremiah 29:11 – Being who you were called to be, being full of the Word, Dynamic, Confident and Powerful as designed by God.

Prophet Fortson has obtained many certificates including ministerial leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. Purpose and Vision are at the foundation of all Prophet Chris does.  She is offensively and progressively seeking the Lord for new ways to “engage the gifting that has been placed within those she is charged to develop”. In 2016, In Him International Ministries was founded as the vehicle to carry out this mandate. Prophet Fortson annually host “The Prophetic Gathering” as well as preaching and training on the prophetic mandate to all believers; both nationally and internationally. One of Christine’s favorite passages, Ephesians1:17-19, best describes how she perceives her calling in the Lord’s church, as one who by the Grace and Anointing of God helps to bring a spirit of wisdom and revelation of insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him, the hope to which we are called and to bring understanding of the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us.
